Knitting

My passion for knitting started about 4 years ago. I had the desire to learn to knit, I went to my local book store and bought a learn to knit book. Well its not so easy learning to knit from a book. I sat frustrated and confused. A few months later at our annual family reunion in Millersylvania state park. My grandmother said her friend was coming for the day to visit and she was a great knitting teacher for anyone who was interested in knitting. I immediately jumped at this opportunity  I wasn't the only one, but i think most of my family said yes just out of kindness and to spend time with grandma. I picked it up fairly quickly thanks in part to Grandma's wonderful friend and also my failed attempts at trying to teach myself how to knit. I have stopped since.
