Card Making

I started scrapbooking shortly after I had my daughter. I wanted to capture every moment with her in a scrapbook. Well it didn't take long and it fizzles out. About 8 years ago I decided I would try card making. Well, I did the basics and enjoyed it. This year, my husband is in school and I am working full time. We are down to just my income. Well christmas is soon to arrive and that means everybody get handmade gifts. I have done had made gifts in the past but it was usually fifty-fifty. This year we are talking like 99-1. My thought this year is to give many of my relatives a box full of handmade cards that they can give throughout the year. This poses several challenges. I am not that great a making cards and I don't want to mass produce a bunch of the same cards. Because who do you give cards to? Your relatives and friends. I want them to all be unigue. So my quest begins. I have been scouring the internet for ideas. I think I am close to 300 pins of cards I love, but there are alot I haven't pinned. The talent in the world of card making is huge. I can't and don't expect to live up to all of the wonderful talent out there. I have made a few cards but have failed to take pictures yet. When I do take pictures I will post them on here.
